Similar to SQL Views, OO Views define an aspect specific projection from a source object model to a view object model. The views are defined via Object Construction Plans (OCP).
Note: this general concept of OO Views is not related to the concept of OO views in the context of OO databases. There, a closer similarity to the functioning of database views is intended.
